We manage Nigeria’s Sovereign Wealth Fund
An investment institution of the Federation set up to manage funds in excess of budgeted hydrocarbon revenues. We play a leading role in driving sustained economic development for the benefit of all Nigerians by building a savings base for the Nigerian people, enhancing the development of Nigeria’s infrastructure, providing stabilisation support in times of economic stress.

NSIA Funds
NSIA receives funding primarily from the surplus income generated from the sale of Nigeria's crude oil. The Authority was allocated an initial sum of US$1 billion in seed capital in 2013.

2025
| Became a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), reinforcing our commitment to embedding ESG principles in all investment and operational decisions to drive sustainable, long-term value. |

Published the 2023 Development Impact Report, highlighting strategic investments that delivered measurable economic value and improved livelihoods across key sectors. -
Launched the Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) Fund in partnership with Africa50, the International Solar Alliance (ISA), and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), aimed at providing critical equity, mobilising long-term local currency capital, and enhancing resilience in Nigeria’s renewable energy sector. -
Partnered with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to establish the Impact Innovation Fund, designed to support early-stage Nigerian startups solving high-priority challenges in sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, energy, waste and water management. -
Successfully hosted the 4th Annual Meeting of the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF), convening African sovereign wealth funds and strategic global investment institutions to strengthen collaboration and unlock scalable investment opportunities in Africa.

Appointed lead implementing agency and financial manager for the National Single Window (NSW) project alongside the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) by HE, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. -
Signed strategic partnership agreement with the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (FMoH) to co-develop and implement six oncology centres in select tertiary hospitals across Nigeria. -
RIPLE, NSIA's wholly-owned renewable energy subsidiary signed a joint venture agreement to co-invest in a 20MW solar-hydro hybrid project in Shiroro, Niger state as the first phase of a 300MW program over five years. -
Commenced construction of Nigeria’s first multi-purpose 12,000 seater Creative Arts Arena Project in Lagos in partnership with Persianas Group Nigeria, Live Nation Entertainment and Oak View Group. -
Launched the Green Guarantee Company (GGC), – the world’s first climate-focused guarantee company alongside other stakeholders.
2023
| Signed MoU with the University of Chicago Medical Center, to upskill medical professionals through a robust exchange programme and equip them ahead of Medserve's ongoing expansion. |

Launched the Renewables Investment Platform for Limitless Energy (RIPLE), NSIA's wholly-owned renewable energy subsidiary. -
Commissioned two of the PIDF Projects namely the Second Niger Bridge & Abuja Kano Road (Kaduna-Kano section).
